Now, the world of aromatherapy diffusers is vast and not all of them deliver the experience they promise. I was doubtful that their diffuser would be able to carry the essential oil scent throughout our day spa (which is almost 1000 square feet); Vividay’s diffuser, however, managed to send the soothing smell of our favorite latest essential oil to every corner of the spa. Our clients noticed immediately after we turned on the unit. This diffuser uses ultrasonic technology to change the essential oils and water into a cool vapor, so it operates quickly and efficiently without giving off heat or steam. The cool vapor floats out of the unit without leaving a moist footprint, and the unit was so quiet I forgot it was on.

Fortunately, the YeYo Aroma Diffuser has an auto shut-off feature for those of us with short memories. The unit has settings for up to 3 hours and a continuous “on” setting, and a huge 500 ml water reservoir as well, so it’s easy to “set it and forget it.” Low and high vapor settings allow you to control the amount of scent and humidity, and the LED colors are visually pleasing. The LED light gives you the options of seven color transitions, each of which you can single out for a specific colored night light, let it cycle through all the colors gently, or leave the light off completely.

The YeYo Aroma Diffuser is an excellent choice for not only scenting, but gently moisturizing the air. While not a classic humidifier, using heat for vaporization, it does reduce the harsh dryness common with winter or forced air heat heating systems in smaller spaces. The unit does move a lot of moisture into the air subtly; in fact, we inadvertently ran the unit dry (and tested the auto shut-off feature) while testing it. The water reservoir is easy to clean, which makes wiping out the last essential oil easy and fast when you want a change of scent.

Overall, the YeYo Aroma Diffuser performs better than other, more expensive units of its type. The low profile, LED colors, and quiet performance means your sight and smell will be pleased and your ears won’t be annoyed. As ultrasonic diffusers go, the Vividay impressed us the most. It has been running beautifully in our spa for 8-10 hours a day, seven days a week – and if we hadn’t been given the unit to test for review, I surely would have bought one myself.
